Career prospects and skill set of graduates of the doctoral programme in Polymers and Biopolymers
Graduates of the doctoral programme in Polymers and Biopolymers are equipped to lead R&D projects related to polymer technology. The training they receive prepares them to work in fields such as production of raw materials, manufacturing of polymeric materials and transformation and design of parts, as well as activities involving the characterisation, development and application of new advanced materials, particularly biopolymers.
Students develop the ability to conceive, design, implement and adapt a substantial process of research. The programme also aims to provide students with training that enables them to help expand the frontiers of knowledge through original research. They are also trained to critically analyse, evaluate and synthesise new and complex ideas, and develop the skills required to present their ideas and knowledge in academic and professional contexts.
