Tracks Master's degree in Interdisciplinary & Innovative Engineering
The Master's program establishes 3 tracks: Energy-efficient technologies, Smart factories, and Healthcare / biomedical. To obtain the specialty it is mandatory to take at least 24 optional ECTS of the chosen track and optionally you can choose to study the remaining 6 ECTS between subjects inside or outside the same (between optional subjects of other tracks or others UPC official master's degrees).
It is mandatory to study a specialty within the master's degree.
- What is a track?
The Master's degree in Interdisciplinary & Innovative Engineering establishes 3 tracks: Energy-efficient technologies, Smart factories, and Healthcare / biomedical.
- How to choose a track?
Once the 60 obligatory ECTS corresponding to the Q1 and Q2 of the master's degree have been taken and passed, then students must choose one of the three tracks within the Master's degree. See syllabus
- Academical requirements to get the track
Students can choose between different options to achieve the track:
- To study the 30 ECTS corresponding to the 5 subjects that make up the totality of the chosen track block
- To attend 24 ECTS corresponding to 4 of the subjects of the chosen specialty block + 6 ECTS corresponding to a subject of another block of specialization in the master's degree.
- To attend 24 ECTS corresponding to 4 of the subjects of the chosen specialty block + 6 ECTS corresponding to a subject of another official university master's degree at the UPC.
- Validate some or all the optional subjects with subjects taken during an international mobility stay (under the approval of the Commission, provided that the total credits and the subjects are similar).
