EEBE PhDay 2024

Us convidem al PhDay EEBE, el 4 de juliol de 2024. Aquesta és una iniciativa adreçada  als doctorands i postdocs actuals de l'EEBE-Campus Diagonal-Besòs, que desitgin conèixer més detalls i inquietuds que sorgeixen en el doctorat.

S'han preparat diverses sessions interactives per als estudiants. Hi ha previstos diversos ponents, activitats i una sessió esportiva amistosa. Us animem a tots a registrar-vos i participar!

Programa

14h30-15h30- Sessió 1: L'Oficina de Mobilitat cobrirà una varietat de temes, incloent oportunitats de finançament, fiscalitat, contractes de treball, oportunitats de mobilitat, etc.

15h30-16h30- Sessió 2: Els ponents convidats parlaran de les seves experiències després del doctorat i de com hi van arribar. Comptarem amb un postdoc en l'àmbit acadèmic, un doctor en la indústria i un doctor que no va seguir un camí de recerca.

16h30-17h - Coffee Break

17h-18h- Sessió 3: Formació en comunicació científica per a diferents audiències en forma de discursos breus (elevator speeches).

18h-20h- Esports: Per a aquells interessats en una mica de treball en equip i conèixer altres estudiants, organitzarem partits amistosos de futbol i tennis de taula amb equips seleccionats aleatòriament després de l'esdeveniment. El nombre de participants determinarà el nombre d'equips i partits.

We invite you to the PhDay EEBE, on July 4, 2024. This is a initiative, both for current PhDs and Postdocs at EEBE-Campus Diagonal-Besos, and Master and (advanced) undergraduate students potentially interested in pursuing a PhD doctoral thesis, and wishing to know more details. 

Several interactive sessions have been prepared for the students. Various speakers, activities and a friendly sports session are planned. We encourage you all to register and participate!

Programme

14h30-15h30- Session 1: The Mobility Office will cover a range of topics including funding opportunities, taxation, work contracts, mobility opportunities, etc.

15h30-16h30- Session 2: The guest speakers will talk about their experiences after the PhD and how they got there. We will have a postdoc in academia, a PhD holder in industry and a PhD holder who did not follow a research path.

16h30-17h - Coffee Break

17h-18h- Session 3: Training in scientific communication to different audiences in the form of elevator speeches.

18h-20h- Sports: For those interested in a little team building and getting to know other students, we will organise friendly football and table tennis matches with randomly selected teams after the event. The number of participants will determine the number of teams and games.
